That is a different issue, not controlled by Live or the Cue Out setting. However based upon what you have written, it seems to me, if I am understanding correctly, that all you want to do is to listen to the Main Out mix through both the speakers and headphones at the same time, i.e. If one output was assigned to 1 and the other assigned to 2, it would become available. Of course there is a possibility that the headphone output is disabled in the PCs BIOS though I think that is unlikely, unless it was turned off manually at some point.

If neither your audio software or the operating system are able to mirror the audio through both the speaker and headphone output at the same time, then it may be a hardware limitation, where only one can be enabled at a time.

Pretty much whatever audio is coming out of Ableton and the tracks I've pre-mixed in there, so it shouldn't be technically hard to do.This is not controlled by Live, and should be configureable through the software that controls your PC audio output.

If you do have two different audio outputs, when they are assigned to the Cue Out and Main Out in Live, then the blue Solo button in the far right column (the Master Channel) can be pushed to change it to Cue, and all of the 'S' solo buttons on all of the audio channels become headphone icons, which means that they can be assigned to the Cue Out - which is how to preview in headphones without hearing it through the Main Out. If you don't need two different output signals, and need the headphones to just mirror the main output, then that is likely controlled by either the software which came with your audio card, or by the operating system, if available, either in the Control Panel (Win) or System Preferences (Mac) under Sounds. If only 1/2 is available, then your PC does not offer two stereo output pairs, and an audio interface with at least two stereo pairs is required.
